Five card draw is one of the most favorite and simple games in online poker. It is very easy to play and can be simply profitable sometimes if you use the right five card draw strategy online . Generally the poker five card draw is played by 2 to 5 players. Each player is dealt with five cards facing down; after the cards are dealt the first betting round starts .after the end of the first betting round each player can discard or draw up to the five cards. After this second betting round is started followed by showdown. Simply the game leads to the winning of pot at the end by the player having the best hand at the end. And each player has to deposit a fixed amount of money in the pot known as ante. So now let’s move on to the game gaining some basic steps of game :

FIRST BETTING ROUND

After the cards are dealt to each player the first betting round starts according to dealer, big blind and small blind. Although dealing is automatic, one player is marked as “the dealer” with a sign called “the button”. After each hand the role of dealer is handled from one player to another clockwise. The dealer is referred as to being on the button. The player sitting to the left of the button and who pays initial amount of money into the pot to the sum of minimum bet is small blind, whereas the player sitting to the left of small blind who pays initial amount of money into the pot to the sum of double the minimum bet is big blind. The first round starts with the player left to the big blind. This player could raise, call or fold until the turn reaches to big blind and the other players also have the same chance to raise, fold or call until the turn reaches the big blind. Once the turn comes to the big blind and no one has raised, the big blind could raise or check his own blind wager. Once the first round of betting ends the players proceed to discard their cards and draw new cards. Each player can discard any of his cards and draw new ones. After this round ends the second betting round starts.

SECOND BETTING ROUND

The player seated to the left of the dealer button starts the second betting round having the option of fold, check or bet to each player. If the first player checks or folds then the other player has the same options as the first. If the first player bets the next player would have the option of fold, call or raise. The number of discarded cards of that player is displayed to everyone.

THE SHOWDOWN

The player who has done the last bet or raise, reraise is the first to show his five card poker hand. If only one player remains at the end of the rounds he does not have need to show his five card draw. The winner shall be decided according to the poker hand rankings. And as all other poker games the player with the best cards wins the pot.
